Shannon Brock is a man of honor, faith, integrity, and courage. He and his beautiful wife, Celina, have four wonderful children. Shannon has honorably served this Country in the United States Marine Corps and has faithfully served this community in law enforecement. He began his career with the St. Mary’s, GA Police Department, rising through the ranks to become acting Police Chief.

In 2019, he and his family moved to Watkinsville to serve as Police Chief for the Watkinsville Police Dearptment. In 2022, Shannon began experiencing abnormal physical symptoms that worsened quickly and began to affect his daily life. He was diagnosed with MSA. Multiple Systems Atrophy is a rare and progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects both the central and autonomic nervous systems. In 2023, Chief Brock had to make the devastating decision to retire from a career he chose for a community he loves. Because of the loss of his livelihood and the physical challenges ahead, the community is coming together to love, support and assist his family. We are planning to renovate their home to make it more physically accessible in the future.
